The benefits of sensory play...

Happy new year everyone, we're back! Today I want to send out a quick note regarding sensory play. Sensory play is so inviting, and such a wonderful part of preschool. It is nearly impossible for our little learners to resist the wonders of sensory play. Whether they are squishing shaving cream through their fingers, or rolling play dough, students are engaging in hyper focused play. Using their fine motor skills to pick up fine objects, is excellent practice for early writing, and improves hand eye coordination. So keep filling those trays and tables with open ended work, and watch your little ones learn while exploring the sights, sounds and textures. Happy teaching!

Little Owls Preschool is an exceptional program.  My daughter was so loved while attending Mrs. Marsha's program. Brit learned to recognize her name, and knew all of her colors, letters, and shapes.  I would highly recommend Little Owls!

Both of my boys went to Little Owls Preschool from ages 2-4. They both started Kindergarten reading sight words, and able to spell their names. We just want to thank Mrs. Marsha from the bottom of our hearts for being so wonderful to Javon and James. We love you!

Mrs. Marsha is a wonderful teacher, and really loves the children in her care. Her program is amazing and really teaches the kids a lot. They don't just sit around all day playing with toys. From Nick , Jenny and Chris
